Timing

Each class typically lasts 2 hours . You may arrive to your event 15 min prior to start time to settle in. We will start class on time and will not wait to start instructions for late guests. We will make sure that for those who may arrive late, that they get caught up during the next step in a respectful and timely manner to all guests. Thank you for your understanding.

Mobile Paint Parties will need one hour before and one hour after for set up and closing down time.

Material

Most material under the “Access to” list on the Pricing page are owned by The Stained Canvas and are not for sale or to be taken, with the exception of your canvas and paint used during class.

Equipment (Mobile)

Most everything is brought to the party to ensure a fun time of painting as listed above under “includes”. All that the host will need to provide for the paint party are the table(s), chairs (if not renting from us), and an accessible water resource. Home, office, and public establishments must have accessibility for the use of a wagon/cart as well as space for the Artist's instructing area. This instructing area will include small table and two standing easels (about a 4’x4’ space). Thank you for your understanding.

Music

Music and the use of a mic headset will be played and used through a speaker (portable when mobile) provided by the Artist. Please inform the Artist if for any reason the music is requested to not be used during a mobile party. Music style can be pre-determined through reservation. Otherwise, the artist will make a good judgment on song selection from an All Ages Playlist.

Safety

If for any reason the Artist/Assistant feels unsafe, they are to immediately leave the premises during a Mobile Event. We do not tolerate harassment of any kind, nor do the Artist/Assistant condone this behavior. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged items.

Sanitation

Yours and our employees health and safety is the utmost importance to us. All product and material is sanitized after each use as well as maintaining cautious safety measures during class.

Please make note during checkout if you are planning on being with others so that you will be seated together, otherwise guests in a group may not be seated next to each other, but will try our best to accommodate.

Private Parties vs. Public Events

Same material as listed on the Pricing page under “Access to” will be provided for both Private Parties and Public Events. Rules will differ from private parties to public establishments depending on location (mobile).

As always, please follow the rules of the host and/or management (mobile). Please be respectful and considerate of others at any private and/or public party. We are here to have fun!

Cancellation Policy

For a Private Party cancellation before 48 hours of the Party date, a refund of deposit/payment (with a $3.50 service fee) or credit can be given. Rescheduling is always welcome.

For a Public Class/Event cancellation before 48 hours of Class/Event date, a refund of payment (with a $3.50 service fee) or credit can be given. Rescheduling is always welcome.

We do not refund or give credit for any cancellations/no shows within 48 hours of Party/Class/Event.
